“Hey, this is Barry with Christenson Transportation and I just wanted to take a few seconds to give a shout out to one of our great vendors that we’ve partnered with for several years.  

You know, trucking is full ups and downs; full of old stuff and new stuff and not everybody can do everything great, so we kind of rely on some of our partners and vendors to help us out and guide us in the way we need to go.  Let’s focus on what we’re able to do on our own, I guess. 

So I wanted to say thanks to Vertical Alliance and Infinit-I, we’ve used them for several years; do all our orientation videos with them, our safety training, our post/pre accident training, anything with videos. 

It’s nice when you call and you have one person you deal with. So, I deal with Nakisha Luckey, but if you call her voice mail it says ‘Nawkyshah Luckey’ so that is how I converse with her. Great person! 

Anyway, I call her and I say here’s my problem. Here’s what I’m looking for and five minutes later I get a list of videos pertaining to the subject I need. For whatever we’re doing in-house in the walls training for supervisor training or if it’s driver training or new driver training. They’ve got it all. 

You know, I don’t think we on this side of the business, we kind of demand stuff all the time and I don’t think that’s fair, so I just wanted to spend a minute and say thanks to all those vendors that look out for us and take care of us that we rely on to stay in this business and Infinit-I and Vertical Alliance, you’re one of the best and Nakisha, you’re awesome too, so thank you very much for all you do.”
