What’s your name and who are you with? 

My name is Tim Hackt. I’m a safety professional with the TLC Companies. 

What is your favorite thing about the Infinit-I Workforce Platform? 

My favorite thing about the platform is how mobile it is. The trucking industry has a very diverse workforce where there’s over the road drivers, local drivers doing a lot of different loads, and the ability to access the videos. Whether you’re in your truck, in a hotel room, at home, at the office. Doing other training, it’s very user friendly and able to be used whenever you have a reliable Internet connection. 

What is your favorite thing about Vertical Alliance Group the company? 

My favorite part about Vertical Alliance is their realization that the technology is rapidly changing, and they are taking steps to expand their services to include things that are above and beyond just distracted, driving, defensive driving and trucking safety. There are so many other aspects for providing web-based training that I think is going to benefit Vertical Alliance and all you know, safety cultures in the future. 

What is your most important take away from The Partner Roundtable? 

My most important take away is the litigation part of it. We are a very sue happy society. There’s no secret with that right now, and the more things that companies can provide to show that they’re trying to do the right thing and trying to give their employees the knowledge and the information to do their job safely. Legally, all these things can help protect companies from the lawsuit that may be happening today. You just are not ready for it but having the documented training can definitely help you show that you are making an honest attempt at running a safe and legal company. 

If someone was on the fence about attending the partner roundtable, what would you tell them? 

I would tell them that this is a great opportunity to provide direct feedback to a number of different departments within Vertical Alliance. There is the IT portion. There is the content portion. There are the client success team has been actively participating throughout the session and it allows you to give face to face real time feedback on new content you want to see created, ways that you can improve the current content, and just the ability to give them direct feedback about what has worked well and what you would like to see to help you do your job better with training your employees.
